The dry fragrance has sweet aroma of ripe dark fruit, toasted hazelnut, mild floral of coffee blossoms. Slurp it and you will note a flavor of pungency, bitter sweetness of dark chocolate and a little bit of smoky character. Medium buttery body; liveliness of medium brightness of citrus; good balance and long resonance finish with a zesty clove, dark chocolate and slightly salty.

Bajawa Highland Coffee from Java Qahwa Specialty Coffee is a selected Indonesian Single Origin for true connoisseurs. “Cabo de Flores” or Cape of Flower is the nickname given by Portuguese explorers to the Flores Island due to the amazing coral garden in its eastern peninsula. Coffee has grown in Flores for at least 150 years and currently cultivated by around 75,000 families. This coffee is planted on fertile volcanic soils 1,000 – 1,500 m altitude in the highland plateau areas around the town of Bajawa, the capital city of Ngada Regency. It is surrounded by walls of volcanic mountains, especially the beautiful Mount Inerie in the south. Bajawa Highland Coffee is a full-washed organic coffee, processed by 36-hour wet fermentation to make a clean, brighter taste.
